Spice farm tour with Zanzibar cooking class. You'll start the day at a local market Darajani in Stone town for ingredients shopping, afterwards head to the spice farms, farm tour + learn about the spices, then proceed to a cooking class with experienced local chef. Available for all dietary options i.e Vegans - vegetarians - gluten free etc.

Please note: - Depending upon your interests, the tour's duration could take up to 2 hours, however it can be more or less. - Sights that are included: Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral, Mkunazini Road, Stone Town, Zanzibar City Tanzania You will truly see the most interesting places like: Old fort , Old slave market, House of Wonder, Forodhani garden, Hammam bath and the unique carved Zanzibar doors .

Notre point de rencontre se trouve en face du marché aux poissons du Cap ( un restaurant de cuisine sud-africaine et japonaise) à Zanzibar. Nous commencerons notre visite dans l'endroit emblématique - Les jardins Forodhani sont un petit parc dans la ville historique de Stone Town, Zanzibar. Nous continuerons jusqu'à Fuerte Viejo De Zanzíbar, également connu sous le nom de fort arabe, l'un des plus anciens bâtiments de Stone Town, construit à l'origine par les Portugais au XVIIe siècle. Vous aurez l'occasion de voir les preuves d'interactions historiques entre la côte swahili et le golfe arabe dans le cadre des travaux d'extraction de 2018. Ensuite, nous passerons devant les ruines « House of Wonders » pour savoir comment le nom est venu et pourquoi toute l'Afrique de l'Est connaît ce bâtiment. Ensuite, nous passons devant le musée du Palais, également connu sous le nom de palais du Sultan, puis Old Dispensery. Le prochain point est la cathédrale anglicane Zanzibar, l'exemple le plus important de l'architecture chrétienne en Afrique de l'Est. Vous aurez l'occasion unique de traverser des chambres souterraines d'esclaves et de voir des monuments historiques extraordinaires, suivis du marché des Vieux esclaves, célèbre pour être le plus brutal. Après cela, nous revenons à notre point de rencontre dans les jardins de Forodhani.

Zanzibar is very famous for spices and Seafood around the world. So that you will learn differently spices as an ingredient we use for cooking and different species available in the ocean that we eat. This Tour will allow our clients to learn more Zanzibar local food and have the chance to test the food. We will pass different places in Forodhani Night Market to show you around a different kind of food available in Zanzibar, how we call it in Swahili, ingredients, preparation and also you will have the opportunity to test the foods like Zanzibar Pizza, Urojo and plates of seafood like Octopus prawns, calamari and lobsters. You will interact with chiefs and you will ask questions if you need more information about how we prepare our daily local foods.
