Take the 19 or 38 bus to Red Lion Street. Ciao Bella is an old school Italian restaurant - they love children,and it is a lively and bustling place in the evenings. There are some lovely Georgian streets around here.

Parks & Nature
Catch the Bakerloo line to Regents park. The Zoological Gardens are to the North. It is a large park with formal planting,as well as open spaces. To the South of the park is Marylebone- a lovely district of London with upmarket shops and nice cafes

A bus ride will take you to this huge park. The 'Peter Pan' garden is fantastic for children under 10. You can hire boats on the Serpentine. There is a lido with a play area for young children,and where you can rent a sun lounger. For the brave this also gives access to the swimming area in the lake!

St James's Park
Getting Around
Piccadilly Circus is a hub for two Underground lines and many buses. We are located within walking distance of many major sights and this is a good way to see London. Take routes through the smaller streets- they are less crowded and you will find great shops and buildings

There is a Santander bike station just around the corner where you can hire bikes. Early weekend mornings would be ideal to go on a cycle ride. Be aware that during the week the traffic is very heavy,and not necessarily pleasant to cycle in!

Take a walk down to Charing Cross Station and cross the bridge to the South Bank, a post war complex comprising theatres, concert halls, galleries and cinemas. There is a tree lined riverside walk, and if you feel energetic, keep walking past the Globe, Tate Modern,More London to get to Tower Bridge!
