This is a large beach about 10 mins walk away. It is beautiful for a long walk, and is popular for windsurfing and swimming. There are plenty of birds to see and is great for rock pool fishing.

Youghal is a small historic village a short distance away. It has a few nice shops to walk around and plenty of sights to see. It was actually the village used in the original movie Moby Dick.
