La ferme du Moyen Ages: A fascinating medieval village just 10 minutes from the chateau with houses and interiors as they were originally and an incredible medieval garden. Definitely worth a visit. €5 per person.

If you are looking for a restaurant in a stunning location, this is it. Right on the Dordogne river..tables outside on the medieval quayside. The food is okay but not extraordinary.
