The best food market in Barcelona. It is very touristy and it gets very crowded but definitely worth the visit (closed on Sundays). If you would like to eat there try El Quim (if you ask around they will tell you where it is). It is pricey but you can't get any fresher ingredients than there!

It's a bar/night club located close to home perfect for going dancing. Especially on Wednesday and Sunday nights they have an amazing jam session (live music) starting at around 23h. My favorite place to go out those days! :)

It is a speakeasy (the entrance looks just like a small pastrami shop) but once you go in the bar, they have amazing cocktails! Very creative with an incredible and fun presentation. It is probably the trendiest bar so you might have to wait outside for a few minutes if you get there late. The cocktails are a bit pricey (10-12 euros average) but worth it!

It is a very small but authentic Spanish place to drink Cava and have some typical tapas! It closes early and it gets packed so make sure to go early (around 20h).

Located about 1 hour away from Barcelona but it is a great day trip! You can easily get there by train and then a cable car ride up from Plaza España metro/train station. Make sure to check the train times before you go (I think they live every hour).

Arts & Culture

It shows the art work progression of Picasso from painting starting at around when he was 12 years old. Don't expect to see his most famous work. It is a museum that shows you his progression in his art work and how it evolved. I'll recommend to buy the tickets online in advance.

An interesting museum with some of Joan Miro and other artist's work. As it is located in Montjuic (mountain/hill), you will see some very nice views of the city walking around that area.

Shopping

This is the street where you will find all the high end designer shops. The cool thing is that in that same street you will find 2 of Gaudi's most iconic buildings: Casa Batllo and Casa Mila (La Pedrera).
