If you are lucky, something will be playing at this small and wonderful theater. The plays are well done and affordable. Highly recommended.

This live theater venue has 2 theaters, the Main stage and the Ellen Bye theater, which is more affordable. The tickets are pricy, but if you love live theater, book a show. Their productions are guaranteed to knock your socks off!!

This beautifully landscaped garden has many water features and a large pond that makes it the perfect place to find water birds of all types all year round. It's especially lovely in the spring and a peaceful place for a walk.

A beautiful place for a walk among a variety of old trees and only 1/2 mile from our home. There is a duck pond, dog park, tennis court, and a nice trail around the park for walkers and runners.

This forested park is a long walk, but walkable from our home. Hike to the top under old growth Doug fir trees. From the top, on a clear day there is a great view of Portland! There are also playgrounds and picnic tables along the way.

Powell Butte is about 8 miles from our home, so it's something you would drive to, but totally worth it for a bike ride to the top or a nice hike in the sun. On a clear day, you can see 5 mountains from the top and there is a map that points to each one. It's also a place for spectacular sunsets and views of the city.

It's just around the corner from us and offers a tasty affordable breakfast or lunch. The Tov coffee bus is right behind this beloved food truck and they are happy to have you eat your egg in their bus, especially on rainy days. Some guests swear they are returning to Portland just for this food truck and Tov.
