Not so far there you can find Castle St Angelo, dedicated to the archangel Michael. An ancient mausoleum of emperor Hadrian turned to the Papal fortress in the medieval times. Climb to the top and have a fantastic view of the city, great for sunset.

Another famous square, full of travellers and locals, to be visited during the day and after dinner when you are strolling back perfect place to pass through when the fountains are all lit-up.

This famous street will lead you towards the castle st angelo and St peter's basilica. Lots of locals live still on this street, where everyone know each other, feels like a small town on sometimes. Try Gelato from Gelateria del Teatro located here...yummy!

Arts & Culture
Small and one of the most see museums in the world according to NY times and me :) Located in the Borghese park which makes a lovely stroll to get to. Full with Baroque art, specially Caravaggio and Bernini...a word of advise see the upper level first paintings and then bottom level (the most important part). The crowd usually stop right away at the first level so by the time you are coming down they are moving up and sometimes you can even have the whole area for yourself

Old cloister turned to very chic art gallery, privately owned they have exhibits from all around the world, a prefect place where the old and the new comes together.
