This place is so legit-- delicious Indian food. More like eating at an Aunty's house-- that's how good the food is! No frills environment. Definitely try the rose lassi if they have it and the chai is pretty darn delicious.

The Oakland Museum’s exhibits are wonderful to visit regardless, but Friday evenings in the summer, the place transforms into a lovely community space with food trucks and live music. Check their website for more details of what precisely is happening.

This is for antique/vintage furniture lovers. Across the street from Ohmega furniture. This is where we found our dining table and end chairs. The dining table is a 1930s door salvaged from an old building and Mignonne put the door on antique table legs and voila our dining table.

We have to give Jeff and his team at Sole Space major props. First of all it is an amazing sneaker head find AND it's a beautiful gallery. Jeff opens this space to community groups frequently. We actually had a small ceremony and party here for our wedding!
