This is the best all-around go-to place in Woods Hole for groceries, newspapers, soups, salads, sandwiches made to order pizza, flip-flops, batteries, even garden seeds plus the usual sodas, iced teas and flavored waters. I love their outdoor seating, especially (shhh) their upstairs covered deck that overlooks the Eel Pond.

I love it here -- always a choice for visiting guests.
Such a calm and tended place that public can roam at specified daytime hours, down to a dock where there's a collection of large painted anchors that always makes me feel I'm in a surrealistic painting.
