If you feel like eating out here are a few of our recommendations.
We LOVE this locally owned restaurant...and so does everyone else! Best to make reservations on line and be prepared for a wait but it is so worth it. My person favorite is the cheese curds and a Hot Granny burger. Gary loves the buffalo burger...any kind. If you have never tried buffalo before this is a great place to try it. They cook it perfectly.

This is a staple for our family when we are in Custer! Their pie's are made in-house and they are delicious! Throw on a scoop of ice cream and you have a perfect snack. They have recently started serving lunch and dinner as well.

I have not personally tried Skogen Kitchen yet, but I can't wait until I do. I have heard rave reviews from neighbors and friends. Call for reservations.

Good restaurant with solid food each time. They have recently opened up a rooftop dinning area that over looks Custer Main Street. Can't wait to sit up there and enjoy a beverage.

It's a Subway but we love to stop here to grab a few sandwiches, chips and drinks then head up to Custer State Park and find a picnic bench on the Wildlife Loop Road for a picnic!

Gorgeous!
Also known as Needles Highway for it's impressive switchbacks and tunnels blasted through rocks that you pass through on the way. Gorgeous views in every direction. Perfect for a Sunday drive!
