My favourite places to eat
Oslo has a lot of nice places to eat. Here's some of my local places I like to go out.
Street food, quite cheap (for Oslo) and a cool place to hang out. Great place to go for a quick snack, or if you want to try lot's of different food.

Street food by the sea. If the weather is nice, this is a really great place to enjoy a cold beer/drink by the sea. This is one of the best spots to sit outside in the sun all day and into late evening.

Our local bakery and coffee shop. Great pastries made fresh every morning, and great coffee. Just 2 blocks away from our apartment.

This is a quick list of fun sights/activities in and around Oslo
Grünerløkka has lots of independent shops and cafe's/restaurants. It has a vibrant night life and is one the more bohemian places in Norway. Great place to walk around any time of day. Very safe :-)

Frogner is Oslo's most posh neighbourhood, but really pretty and nice to walk around.

Aker Brygge is an old shipyard turned into a luxurious shopping centre, and expensive condos. Its nice to walk here in the sun at day time.

Great place to go swimming if the weather is nice. Tjuvholmen is even more luxurious than Aker Brygge, but rich and famous who live there must share their waterfront the public beach and public swimming facilities. Really nice!
