Great craft cocktails with a uniquely Brooklyn vibe. No food is served except popcorn but you can have food delivered or bring it in. Table 87 pizza is directly next door so that works out well :)

All I can say is wow about this place. Walk into the building and take the escalator downstairs and you are smacked with tons of vendors serving everything delicious from food truck sized kiosks. Seriously, everything you could imagine. Nice thing too is they don’t allow more than one type of vendor so you won’t see 12 peirogi places, just one really good one :) Make sure you do a full lap and go down each aisle before committing. It’s an experience.

Sightseeing
You can take a car to this point, just tell the driver you want to get to the Brooklyn bridge walking entrance. There are a couple places to start the walk. Bring a water with you, stay out of the bike lane and please please don’t sit on the edge to take a selfie :) Whole way across you’ll see some fantastic views.

This is a free ferry. Do not let anyone convince you that you need to buy a ticket. Go snag a seat and enjoy a lovely ride with great views. Will take you right past the Statue of Liberty.

The museum was beautifully and respectfully done. Not a quick trip, several stories and bring tissues.

I love Coney Island. It’s a magical place :) You can wander the streets and check out shops and such, lots of food vendors, normally some kind of festival happening. Ride the cyclone or go for a stroll on the beach. Be sure to catch a Cyclones baseball game (Mets farm team) if you’re into BB, also all tickets are 10 bucks on Wednesday’s and pretty cheap any other day :) From any seat you watch the roller coaster go by the whole game. They also have fireworks most weekend days. Super fun.

People don’t realize the amazing and huge parks carved out all over NYC. Prospect park is one of the biggest and just up the street. There is a restaurant, botanical garden and lots of walking or biking paths to enjoy. There is even horse back riding available.

Only a few dollars and many places in Brooklyn to board convenient to the house. Note, it is not a round trip you have to exit at the end and reboard for another few dollars. All the best views for less than six dollars per person

Fun stuff
Set in a previously abandoned industrial park, industry city is quickly becoming a hub of Brooklyn. From the house, you can hop on a city bike, walk or take a car the 15 blocks to get there and wander through building after building packed with an ever growing array of restaurants, vendors, artisans and shopping. The spaces in between the buildings have been individually designed as green spaces, common areas and a beer garden. Last winter they even did an ice house. The Brooklyn Nets are also based here with their training facility.
