If you are looking for a relaxing, sheltered place to while away some hours, you can't go past the Mothar Mountain Rock Pools. Located in the Woondum National Park, about a 10 minute drive from Gympie's CBD. Tables, wood fired barbecues, water and toilets are all provided for your use on site.

Try your luck in the gold-bearing gully at the Deep Creek Fossicking Area. Don’t forget your fossicking licence available at the Lake Alford Visitor Information Centre. Equipment hire too. Great family activity at minimal cost.
