A local favorite, Lux Central has awesome hot (and cold) beverages, yummy baked goods, and amazing food! It's an eclectic hotspot, where you'll find people from every corner of phoenix. Definitely a great spot!

If you are here in the winter, be sure to get tickets for the Las Noches de las Luminarias! The park trails get lit up with lanterns and there are a variety of musicians and bands scattered throughout.

Phoenix is a car place!
You'll want to rent a car, or use car share apps to get around! Yes, we do have the Light Rail (overground tram) in parts pf the city, but the routes are limited.

Summers are hot, winters get cold!
Our summers are super warm! Be sure to bring sun glasses, hats, and sunscreen. And although Phoenix is a desert environment, the winters do get cold! Be sure to pack a sweater and jacket for cooler days and nights, especially if you plan to go north and explore.
