Absolutely stunning every where you go: Waterfalls, hiking trails, marinas, Crown Point, Hood River, great restaurants, etc. Make your road trip as long as you want, but plan a 45 minute drive to get to the start of scenic area (depending on traffic). Check out the often missed Riverview Restaurant up the Sandy River on your way home for something off the beaten path.

Beautiful, charming beach town with the Ecola Creek running through it into the Pacific Ocean is known for majestic Elk visiting the beach! Wonderful restaurants, shops and beach trails to explore. Just over an hour drive over the Coast Mountain Range makes this excursion suitable for a day trip!

We walk there on occasion, it takes about 20 minutes on the back roads-ask me and I'll give you directions.
