Birtat is the most popular Turkish restaurant in our area, and famous throughout Amsterdam. No pretenses, TL lighting, but great service, incredibly friendly staff and good food. Not too many options for vegetarians or vegans though. Kitchen is open until 1AM, so great after drinks or late work nights.

The (cocktail) bar of an art gallery, run by yours truly. The art gallery hosts regularly changing exhibitions by up and coming Dutch and international artists, the café serves amazing brunch & coffee during the day, and cocktails, beers and bites at night. Best spot in Amsterdam of course :). There is a garden, a laptop working area, a sun terrace and amazing service.
