was a beer and pizza bar - unfortunately it burned down in Fall 2015 because of a propane fire...they have rebuilt and are open! The pizza is good but it does take some time. We have eaten in the restaurant and picked up to go. Hours vary greatly!

GREAT higher end pizza and salads etc. We stop here on every visit to our cabin!

Great grill! The only restaurant in Duck Creek where you can get "real" beer. They also have wine and mimosas. Super friendly ladies & staff. I had a great (but messy) egg salad sandwich with jalapeño mayo the end of July 2019 -very good!! Burgers and salads too. Small outdoor patio where you can do some people watching! Great homemade, spicy salsa you can buy too! Their hours are updated online (google, yelp etc.) so check before you go. They have expanded outdoor seating for summer 2020. They generally close in mid December until mid February.
I have their paper menu in the cabin.

Shopping
You can pick up many items here...but not a wide variety but getting better all the time. Some basic groceries, toiletries, hardware but its best to pick up things in the larger towns (Cedar City for example). The True Value has more than just hardware.....many essentials, gift and souvenir items....bird seed...very nice owners (Doug and Sam). We love to support our local businesses!

Essentials
We recommend you purchase your groceries etc. in a larger town like Cedar City as you will have more selection and pay less. If you need a last minute item True Value is great! The cabin has many spices, condiments, salt and pepper, oils as well. We can’t guarantee everything and our guests usually leave items but it varies from stay to stay.
If you are coming to Duck Creek via highway 89. Be sure to stop no later than Glendale, Utah at Terry's Food & Drug store for food and essentials.
Large grocery store in Cedar City. If you do not have a loyalty card use my number 801 891 2334 it will save you quite a bit. Smith's prices seem to be a bit lower than Lin's. There is a huge Wal-Mart in Cedar City - but I'm not a fan of Wal-Mart :(

You can BUY ATV's here and it is the only gas station. It is also a convenience store if you run out of something. Can be pricey. We prefer True Value for last minute items and essentials. The staff at True Value are much more friendly!

Lin’s is a full grocery store with some specialty items too. I find it to be more expensive than Smith’s.

Many items to service all of Duck Creek. Very clean, nice store with souvenirs too. Great local owners that have been in Duck Creek for over 25 years!

Like a mini Bryce Canyon! Very close to our cabin. 10,000 feet elevation! Some great hikes for everyone in your group!
Also recently named an International Dark Sky Park....star gazing is pretty great from the cabin but apparently the gazing from Cedar Breaks is wonderful! The have "Star Parties" weekly in the summer. We have not been able to attend yet but they sound awesome!

Great hiking, beautiful national park! We are close to it! $30 to enter per car - you can't even go to the visitors center to use the restroom without paying so go at the Red Canyon visitors center if you don't want to pay.

Wonderful.....warmer in temperature from our cabin and Bryce Canyon as it is lower in elevation

Best fishing from what I've been told!!
Just outside Bryce Canyon.....very nice visitors center and restrooms - less crowded and you don't have to pay! We have done some biking and hiking in this area - very similar to Bryce canyon!

We have been to these caves several times with our now 6 year old daughter...she loves it. Make sure you bring a headlamp or flash light, hiking shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. It gets pretty cool inside the caves as well.

Easy hiking trail - we've taken our 2 year old (when she was 2) - nice views and close to the cabin.....not within walking distance though.

Within walking distance down the mountain about 1.5 miles....many people fish at this small mountain lake. It is also near Duck Creek Pond

Close lake to the cabin and quite scenic. You can drive down to certain areas (depending on lake level) to swim (warm summer days only), rent a boat, paddle boats, fish. Navajo Lake Loop is a great easy hike or bike ride. Keep a look out for Osprey!
