Great small French restaurant.The Garrison (99-101 Bermondsey St.): Particularly for brunch, though also has good food and it is a bar. Probably worth booking if you want to have dinner as there aren’t a lot of tables and tends to be full.

The bigger brother of Jose further down the street. (Creatively the head chef is Jose Pizzaro.) Has some really nice Spanish food. Has been rated the best Spanish in London. Also a good place for a Spanish style breakfast - eggs, chorizo and stuff like that.

As per the name, this is right at Tower Bridge on Southbank. Quite formal in feel but good food. This is where Tony Blair took George Bush when he was in town - this is either going to make you rush there immediately or avoid like the plague.
