In the 60’s it was where all the hippies met (like in the song), and then later the punks took it over. There are lots of little shops and bars. The youth cruise up and down. It’s busiest around 4th or so, but there are other pockets of activity.

This swank neighborhood features a lovely little park which is great for people watching and relaxing. There’s a lot of shopping and plenty of good restaurants near by. If you appreciate architecture the residential streets are wonderful.

There are several good restaurants and bars around the intersection of 13th and Sansom which is close to City Hall about a mile away from us. The gayborhood is close by too.

Not only is their Thai food delicious, but they are truly generous members of our community- I will never forget their kindness to those in need during lockdown. Do yourself a favor and experience sincere and expert hospitality at this gem of a restaurant. It’s BYOB.

They pay attention to every detail at this fantastic Mexican restaurant. The tamarind margarita with the spicy salt rim is highly recommended. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Right across the street is this classic and proper Italian American restaurant with all of the comforting standards. Once the site of an infamous mob hit, it’s now safe enough to be one of the president’s favorites.

As seen on Netflix, enjoy the famously delicious food made by people who really make the city great. Chef Martinez defends the rights of the immigrants who are so important to our restaurants, and she preserves traditional ways of cooking.

There is a lot of great Vietnamese food in the neighborhood. This restaurant is consistent, just a few blocks away, has a liquor license, and is very attractively appointed for the price point. Seating arrangements are flexible if you’re looking to book a large table.

Pizzas and sandwiches are really delicious here. People come from far and wide, but luckily for us, it’s right around the corner. If you want to try a Philly cheese steak, theirs is definitely a step above Pat’s and Geno’s.

This BYOB casual spot has great Indonesian food. The prices can’t be beat, and the people are wonderful. It’s located in an Asian shopping center with other spots worth visiting.
