My favorite place to go in the summer when Golden Gardens gets crowed. It is HUGE and way quite. I like to walk down to the light house and chill on the beach. This is a very secrete and lovely place. You can even view the ferries to the south and see parts of downtown. Stop by the visitors center to get a parking pass (only a few per day to park directly down there) or walk through the park to the light house down the hill.

This is the park of Fremont area. It was once an industrial gas plant that was turned into a park many years ago. The industrial towers are still there and add to the land scape. It is the place to sit and look over the WHOLE city, boats, sea planes, and people watching. Off the Burke Gilman trail. A great bike ride and a place to bring a picnic!
