Nature is foremost here; thousands of birds--snow geese, sandhill cranes, Canadian geese, ducks of all kinds and more--migrate to and from the Arctic through Creamer's Field in spring and fall (April & Sept). Feed is spread on the fields to keep the birds away from the airport and imprinted to this unique location. Various activities are held throughout the year to educate the public and to encourage families to connect around bird-theme arts and crafts.
