Frenchman Street is about a 13 minute walk. You know what to do .May I suggest hitting the frenchman deli and getting a not ice cold beer to go for a few bucks , then talk a stroll up and down Frenchman st scanning the clubs until you find the one with the best music that night.

Its a little tight in there but great jazz to be heard. Sunday nights after ten is the place to be if you are into Be Bop, depending on who sits in. You will clearly understand the level of musicianship we are accustomed to in New Orleans in about 3 minutes.

The restaurant side closes early so for some, often phenomenal pho, don't wait till dinner time. Gets crazy busy at noon so prepare to wait if you can't do an early or late lunch. You're going to want to drive here. This is where you get a poboy for 3 bucks.

Heres where you get your New Orleans style Family atmosphere , big loud room ,and your Chicken Parmigiana. They are pretty good with the Fried seafood as well, you can ask anyone.

Caesar usually comes with a couple croutons smeared with roast garlic paste mmmm... You couldn't get a decent slice in NO , before the hurricane. Now we have probably a dozen decent providers of this essential food group. Meatball is the pie to get

24/7 mini mart , perfect stop On the way home from a night on bourbon st for great late night gas station fried chicken. Sketchy at times but you’re in New Orleans now and that’s how we do it here.
