If you like shopping but are looking for something different from an independent retailer then you must visit the Great Western Arcade! Not only is it beautiful it is filled with great local independent shops and restaurants and is right in the middle of Birmingham city centre, opposite Snow Hill train station.

Not only is it beautiful it is filled with great local independent shops and restaurants and is right in the middle of Birmingham city centre, opposite Snow Hill train station.

Great atmosphere with a real mix of people and ages. Great beer, gin and cocktails, looks can be deciving from the outside as it looks like a real Edwardian boozer, but has a great beer garden to the back. All locals go here.

The best cocktails! Elaborate and theatrical this place not only looks good but serves a great cocktail too. I recommend you call you can book a table downstairs to get table service and experience the VIP treatment for no extra money.

Where JRR Tolkien got his inspiration for the Hobbit. This short but very pretty walk is beautiful and perfect for kids, dogs and adults on rainy days as it has think tree cover that acts as a barrier. Free parking.
