In the gallery you can find local watercolors & oils by proprietor Ron Hayes, as well as art supplies & one-day painting classes. If painting is something on your summer wish list, check out their website for details. The cafe is run by Ron's daughter Michaela. It has a lovely back deck overlooking the park & Habitant River. You can find interesting yummy food, desserts & drinks here. (BTW - the rhubarb/strawberry soda is divine!)

This is a fantastic, local, old-school butcher (if you need some raw meat)... AND they now have the best local produce in town as well. They carry grab & go picnic foods, local sausages, sandwiches, subs & frozen pizzas. Worth popping in.

The community puts on a fine breakfast & everyone gathers from miles around to watch the phenomenon & catch up on gossip. The eagles themselves are breathtaking & so are the massive lenses there to photograph them! A not-to-be-missed gem of an event.

Lovely trails of varying lengths & descriptions, camping & picnic areas. The high & low tides hide & reveal dramatic red clay beaches towered over by massive stratified bluffs. It's very dramatic & beautiful at any time, in all kinds of weather.
