Our family favourite, a great little cafe in the foot of the dales just on the outskirts of Reeth. A family friendly menu, offering sandwiches, bacon buns and a wide selection of home cooked cakes. Friday is 'Showstopper Cake' day and therefore worth a visit, and Tuesdays are soup, sandwich and cake day.

Our family favourite, a great little cafe in the foot of the dales just on the outskirts of Reeth. A family friendly menu, offering sandwiches, bacon buns and a wide selection of home cooked cakes. Croft Circuit, plays host to a number of motor sport events throughout the year - most notably the British Touring Car Championships. For those petrol heads amongst you it maybe a destination to visit, or a location for a driving experience.

Thorp Perrow is a family favourite, locate 20 mins away by car - this arboretum is a place of tranquility whilst also offering plenty for the kids to do. They have a falconry, with 3 demonstrations a day, they have a wild animal centre which is home to meerkats and well as a 'Joey' park. It provides a nice day out, with children play areas, plenty of open space and a decent cafe where you can grab lunch and cakes

Offering championship golf courses, one of Europe's most sought after Spa's and a 4AA Rosette restaurant 'The Orangery' this is a must visit for some leisure time or pampering.
(Its also home to Middlesborough FC's Training Complex for those who are football fans)

Reeth is the eastern entry to the Yorkshire dales, and is a real delight if you like rugged rural landscapes, long walks and country pubs. When it rains in Richmond it can be snowing in Reeth so make sure you are prepared for the elements if heading out from the village
