Sightseeing
Here you will see all the Fishing Huts which you will only see here in Hastings where in the past fisherman have hung up their nets to dry. You can buy fresh fish here to take back and cook at the apartment or cockles and fish and chips to eat on the seafront. This is a wonderful place to wander around on a hot sunny day or take the Funicular up to the top of the hill and walk around the park at the top.

This is a wonderful place to wander around on a hot sunny day or take the Funicular up to the top of the hill and walk around the park at the top.
Newly refurbished in 2016 after the devastating fire that nearly saw it destroyed forever, this lovely old pier is now back, good as new and is a lovely place for a leisurely strolll on a sunny summers day.
There is a great restaurant and cafe here too, so you could make a day of it if the sun is shining and the sea is blue - heaven!

Hastings Pier Shop
1-10 White RockNewly refurbished in 2016 after the devastating fire that nearly saw it destroyed forever, this lovely old pier is now back, good as new and is a lovely place for a leisurely strolll on a sunny summers day.
There is a great restaurant and cafe here too, so you could make a day of it if the sun is shining and the sea is blue - heaven!
Battle Castle and Battle the town are definitely worth a visit.
This is where the Battle of Hastings actually took place (not Hastings despite the name)! Battle Castle is one of the very impressive old castles around this area (there are many) so take yourself here for the day and enjoy some history and perhaps a nice pub lunch too! Quaint little village to enjoy as well.

Amazing Views to enjoy on the top of this hill and all around this park. Breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy a picnic up on high if you are organised and bring it with you.
Really fun place to fly a kite too on a sunny day!
