Owners Heidi & Will are personal friends of ours, and this family friendly cafe just down the street has great breakfast and lunch food, as well as pastries & espresso. This is family run, meaning even the little people are "staff." Not for health nuts :) Not for people in a rush. This cafe gives all leftovers to the food bank, and is well loved by locals.

Local's favorite. Not your average pizza, and not for those who like NY style pizza. It's a one of a kind pizza experience with unique toppings (if you choose) and sometimes surly staff. They are the soup nazis of pizza. Get a slice for lunch and walk next door to the little beach, or sit upstairs and dine in.

Great food and atmosphere just 3 blocks straight downtown from the apartment. The best thing about Khu Larb is the atmosphere and close walking distance. The food is above average, but nothing amazing.

This is the family friendly more budget option for Thai food, and the option our family chooses to go to. The food is really great, and best for takeout because the dine-in is really utilitarian. This is the place locals go for Thai.

Award winning live theater just down the street. Danny, my husband, does a lot of work for KCPT and is always impressed at the quality of the plays and the effort put into them.

Drinks & Nightlife
Gastropub with great food, atmosphere, and often music in the evenings. We generally just go here for the Sirens Burger and sub the fries for the amazing house salad. On nice days we sit outside on the deck.

Very unique theatre showing both hollywood standards and more unique Independent films in a vintage setting. Not your average theatre experience. They also run The Starlight Room, with movies serving wine, beer & snack foods in a very cool environment. Just 4 blocks from the apartment. 21+

We have a decent pool to do laps or open swim in, just about a mile from the apartment. Make sure to google "port townsend pool" to get the latest schedule, it's not safe to assume open swim is happening. Friday nights are only $2.

Such a beautifully landscaped park with two playgrounds and plenty of space to picnic. There's also access to the beach, and during August, Shakespeare At The Park (Key City Public Theatre)

The best beach for a beach day, good food at The Cantina, hiking trails, and old military bunkers to explore. If you're visiting Port Townsend, you pretty much have to go to Fort Worden. You can also rent kayaks here at the beach!
