It has a full bar and owner Johnny Nicholas sometimes comes out and plays blues. If you check out on Sunday, you might stop by for their lovely brunch too.

Crossroads is a great restaurant as well as a bar and music venue. You can eat or drink on the patio as well as in the dining room and saloon. At 9:00 most weekend nights they have live music, which owners Maggie and Gary select from the Houston and Austin music scenes. Crossroads is far and away the best dance floor in town. It's a more swanky than casual Hondo's across the street.

Parks & Nature

Enchanted Rock is a lovely day hike on the large granite outcropping that forms the Llano Uplift geologic formation. It's best enjoyed in nice weather, since the hike up the face of the rock is exposed. If you hike over the crest of the rock there is a cave whose entrance is marked only by a spray painted arrow. spelunking from one end of the cave to the other takes under an hour, but requires a flashlight. If you're going to do the cave wear grubby clothes. On crowded days you'll want to arrive early.
