Walk from Highland to Poughkeepsie over the Hudson river. We like the Rosendale Trestle bridge walk even better because it's more unique and historical, but this is grand for sure.

A 25 minute ride south down rt 9 will get you to the Walkway Over the Hudson. Spectacular views of the Hudson and leads you to the city of Poughkeepsie.

A fun and free thing to do in the area that gives you great views of the Hudson. Grab Rossi’s on the other side and come back for a picnic at their tables. Clean bathrooms and bike care stations are on site with free parking.
