It might seem unnecessary to approach Jewish deli foods from a new point of view — but buying into that notion might mean missing out on Abe Fisher, which would be a damn shame. The simple-sounding "chopped liver" is one of the finest, most appealing mousses diners are likely to encounter, and the Montreal smoked short rib could keep any pastrami lover happy for days.
