Bring cash: there is a 4% credit card use charge. But, be prepare to experience a complete Japanese experience. The food is always fresh, the sushi delicious, and I keep going back for a reason. PS: Don't forget the dessert! Again, The spot is pretty small, but I enjoy the Japanese traditional feel…

Great Sushi pace, small and close by, no view, but great food!

Extremely authentic sushi (small so can be hard to get a table, reservation recommended)

Low-key, but super tasty. House made tofu and mochi are not to be missed. You'll need a reservation. $$

One of my favorite sushi places. It's very small. Worth calling in ahead of time to reserve a table. Really good sushi and homemade tofu.

“Jeff and my's favorite brunch spot! Cozy eatery with wood tables and modern decor serving Californian cuisine with Asian influences. Phenomenal for brunch but go early (before 10:30 am to skip the line) and make sure you order Millionnaire's Bacon and the Ribeye Omurice!”

“Authentic French bakery! We like this MUCH better than the more famous Tartine bakery, and it is much cheaper. Try their ham and cheese croissants! ”

Restaurant de sushi
“This is another small sushi place located 1 block up the street. It's in an underground little mall at 16th Street--the entrance is just before you get to Market Street. Their happy hour is usually a great deal. Good for vegetarians, too.”
