Great hiking and running trails

Many walking trails, and swim spots at this exquisite lake. I got often to do a walking loop and enjoy the tranquility and views.

Thetis Lake is a great spot to relax on the beach, swim, hike/jog the numerous trails or borrow our kayaks and go for scenic paddle from Upper Thetis to Lower Thetis lakes. Trout fishing is also pretty good here both from shore or kayak.

This is a favorite of locals! The trails around the lake are fantastic! The beach has a huge sandy area at the main beach with a large washroom facility. Nearby is a grassy area with picnic tables. This is a very popular place in the summer, especially for the teen/young adult crowd. There is another smaller beach area that is less popluar as you will have to walk a bit. During the summer, people find boulders and cliffs to sun on and enjoy the nature.

Trails go around both halves of the lake. This is a great place to take dogs for a swim and a hike. Lot's of places to swim off rocks and at the main beach. Main beach is great for children. *Check yearly advisory warnings before swimming.
