Great, low-key bar with live music and lots of taxidermy!

“A true local's hangout with an immense back garden, hot food and cold beer. Order a stevedore or two and kick back under the stars”

Bar
“IT'S 10 p.m. on a Wednesday at Sunny's in Red Hook, and the band is playing in the back room. The place is crowded. No empty seats at the bar, and all four booths are overflowing, two with drinkers playing Scrabble. There are a lot of goatees and black-rimmed glasses, and young women with small tattoos of geometric designs and flowers. A Johnny Cash CD plays in the narrow front room; he is performing an acoustic version of the song ''One'' by U2. ''Have you ever heard this record?'' asks Matt Dilling, who is serving drinks. ''This record is awesome.''”
