This place is lovely! Half of it is an old mansion and the other half is modern art. A must see!

Art museum that originally was just in a magnificent home, but was recently expanded to include more art. The second thursday of every month there is an adult only event in the evenings called ArtMix where alcohol is sold and there are different themes every month.

The Crocker Art Museum was built in 1871 and is a must see if your traveling to Sacramento! You wander around the victorian mansion, passing art and sculptures dated back from the gold rush era until present day. There is lots of modern art selections to see as well. If you have time the Crocker is highly recommended!
