A mix of Italian and French cuisine, the owner Pierre has run the restaurant for the past 37 years and has made Fandangos a cornerstone in the Monterey Bay dining scene. This restaurant offers some of the most fantastic dishes in the whole area and my #1 pick.

Mon-Sun 11:30 am - 9 pm - French cuisine, a bit on the pricey side, but one of the only places in town that's open for dinner every night of the week.

Upscale dining - Recommended. Accepts reservations but we've been able to get in without them.

A classic that caters to an older crowd. Food is decent, if not exceptional. Recently got a new chef. Perhaps on the way up. At 223 17th Ave.
