Beautifull town, lovely wine and craft shops, picnic area on a natural lake, also available arewatersports... and its one of the best places in Wales to practise your Welsh.
Largest natural lake in the UK. Beautiful walks on the edge of Snowdonia. Welsh culture. Places to eat at reasonable prices. Look out for 'Stori' on the high street who sell locally brewed beers and wines.
Bala is just 13 miles across the Berwyn Mountains. There are plenty of things to do there if you like water! You can sail, windsurf and canoe on the lake, or just sit and have a picnic. Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding areas as well.
