Winery dining venue with wood-fired pizzas & other Italian offerings in a casually elegant setting.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is absolutely amazing and the vineyard is beautiful. Try a wine tasting next door at the vineyard before dinner. Reservations are highly recommended.
A beautiful, secluded Italian villa located at a vineyard in the Texas Hill Country. This upscale restaurant serves a full range of fantastic Italian fare in a gorgeous setting. Worth the 25-minute drive. A great place for a fine dinner or romantic evening, plus tour the vineyard tasting room.
Incredible Italian food in a beautiful rural setting. Casual fine dining. Gardens, wine....you feel like you're in Italy.
Very Romantic! Fantastic menu and daily specials! Winery has lots of selections to go with your meal. Dont forget to share a piece of Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake! It's to die for!
Just a short drive over to Driftwood and totally worth the extra effort! Elegant Italian restaurant on the gorgeous grounds of The Duchman Family Vineyard and Mandola Winery that is perfect for a romantic dinner. They have bocce ball courts outside, too. If you have kids in your group, you can sit…
This beautiful place is listed as one of the top 100 restaurants in America if you're a wine lover, it's one of our favorites. Check out the beautiful grounds too! Best to make a reservation before going for dinner on the weekends, especially in the summertime!

“While many local wineries tout beautiful sights, the views at this winery simply can’t be beat. The estate sits on a tall bluff that overlooks a valley of sweeping vineyards, making it the optimal spot to enjoy the cool summer breeze and a picturesque Hill Country sunset with a glass of wine in hand. With several areas inside for tasting (including a kitschy gift shop), plenty of covered outdoor seating, and numerous picnic benches and lawn chairs, this winery always feels spacious and peaceful even when it’s full. Note: With a new bistro, Driftwood Estate no longer allows outside food on weekends, so leave your picnic basket at home.”

“Why It’s Special: The craft-beer brewery has coined the term “Tex-Mex beer” and is dedicated to using distinctly Texan and Mexican ingredients like jalapeños in their beverages. Must-Order: Try their Twisted X premium lager as well as wackier brews like the Fuego jalapeño pilsner and the tequila-aged Senor Viejo imperial black lager. Insider Tip: Take a tour of their taproom to get a better sense of their process and dedication.”

“With its Mediterranean-tiled exterior, sprawling vines, and Italian restaurant next door, Duchman Winery feels like it’s plucked right off a Tuscan vineyard. Order a tasting at the standing-room bar inside and then take your bounty outside, where you can sit under a shady oak as you sip and swirl your afternoon away. Pro tip: End your day of Hill Country tastings here so you can mosey next door to Trattoria Lisina and slurp pasta before heading home full and happy.”
