It's worth looking into doing a trip to Patonga to enjoy the Boathouse Restaurant go during the week to avoid crowds. Or to Ettalong which is a reasonable town.

Take a tour around Pittwater on an iconic Palm Beach Ferry. You can hop off at one of the stops and enjoy a picnic lunch at The Basin or just stay onboard and enjoy the sights.

Palm Beach Ferry, is a MUST. You can get the Ferry to Ettalong, disembark to Restaurants/shops. . Or continue to Wagstaff, where you could disembark, and do some delightful scenic walking, and swimming. One can also go to Patonga Beach Hotel, for great fish n chips.

“The Bible Garden is a quiet, contemplative, garden made up of a series of gently descending, intimate grassed terraces that lead down to a viewing area providing spectacular views. The pond contributes to its tranquillity and provides a water habitat for biblical plants. This destination includes insane views of the whole of Palm Beach and direct views of Barrenjoey headland and lighthouse. ”

“Lovely walk, albeit a bit steep, to the top of Barrenjoey Headland where the views of Pittwater, Palm Beach & across to the Central Coast are amazing !”

“This cinema shows fewer blockbusters and more arty films. Small screens and older technology means it's probably not one for the older kids.”

“The Boathouse has several locations but the original in Palm Beach is pretty special any time of day with incredible views across Pittwater. Try also their Whale beach cafe, the more upmarket Barrenjoey's, Shelly Beach, or Balmoral. Or take a ferry to the Patonga Pub. I love their look, everything they touch is gorgeous from the food to the interiors, to the gorgeous tropical gardens and planters. ”
