Go rustic!! Basic tacos. This is where the locals stop for a couple of tacos. Nothing fancy. They have various dishes to choose from and they make their own hand rolled tortillas. You point at what you want in your taco and they hand them over. Great fresh juices and smoothies. The earlier the better as there's move of a selection to choose from. I nice local experience!

Local taqueria with tasty tacos. Located outside gate on right side of 307 before leaving Puerto Aventuras towards Tulum. One of favorites for authentic cheap eats with the locals
