Great beer and food. Pelican offers both indoor and outdoor seating now, as well food to-go. They are open noon - 9PM during the week and noon - 10PM on Friday and Saturday. The wait is long, so plan ahead. Check in early at the front desk and they will text you when your seat is ready.

Pacific City is a beautiful little beach community to the north, about a half hour drive away. Aside from the impressive Haystack Rock, the main attractions is Pelican Pub & Brewery, a delicious microbrewery with an amazing view--it is also popular among paragliders.
