From Sandy point, head east along Sandy Point road until you reach the beach. Turn right onto the beach. Summer period sees a fee to drive your vehicle on the beach. A great shallow body of water for boating (launching off the beach, be careful of tides), kayaking, wind/kite surfing, beach activities, fishing and dune surfing. A beach walk around the point will get you out to the open ocean beach. Toilets and camp tables on the right at the beginning of the beach access.
