Paradosiako restaurant is a must if you want to taste greek modern cuisine. Its prices are quite descent for the quality and quantity that is being served and I'd definitely recommend it as it is a hidden gem.

This restaurant is famous all around Zakynthos of its excellent quality of food and service as well. You can enjoy local food and some gourmet dishes which you hardly find at other restaurants. There is also a big variety of wine, locals and other famous bottles from Greece. Prices are a little bit higher than normal touristic restaurants but the quality is also far more better

"To Paradosiako" is a family-run Greek restaurant, situated on the main road, right next to the river of Alykes, Zante. Since 1997, they have been offering quality food, at very reasonable prices and with friendly and attentive service.
