Off the beaten path. Very cool museum about south shore history of Seaweed Harvesting (Mossing). Scituate is a lesser visited but lovely town with good food, 4 beaches and a lighthouse.

A small little Maritime museum with the history of the town and the old Irish mossing history. Not open every day.

Great little museum to learn about the history of Scituate. Has information and artifacts about shipbuilding, shipwrecks, and the maritime history of Scituate. Open on Sundays.
