The Historical Mangonui Hotel a real icon of the Far North and Doubtless Bay. The way Hotels in NZ use to be. A must visit and lunch or dinner next door in the Hotels Restaurant.

Old school New Zealand pub with cracking views over Mangonui harbour. You can mingle with the locals here and the bar attracts a wide variety of customers. Don't be put off if you see a row of big motorbikes parked outside - the riders are a good bunch of guys. There is also a takeaway food bar attached, where you can order to food to eat in the bar, or take home with you.

Come and meet Aurora the parrot. Good pub tucker supplied here by "Fresh and Tasty" takeaways which is adjoined to the pub
