You must go there especially in the evening to enjoy the scenery. Later you can go for a walk to some restaurants and bars on the hill.

Picnic at Bismarck rocks Just pack some bites and drinks and go to the bismarck rocks. There is a maintained green park-like area, where you have to pay 2000 tsh/person entrance to enter (bargain a total price if you are larger groups). This is mainly to maintain the grass there and to keep beggars away. We'd always combine this then with a boat trip on lake Victoria. 30min Boat trip in the Mwanza bays: Just at the bismarck rocks, there are some few boats that take groups around in the two bays of Mwanza. For 7000 tsh (grown ups) and 2000 tsh (children) for 30mins, that's a pretty good deal. You can also call Mr Boati (Edwin) if you want to organise sth. in advance: +255 687 232 349. Otherwise, you'll always find him or other lake tour guides there.
