'HYOTAN ONSEN' is a famous hot spring in the KANNAWA hot spring area. Obtained 3 stars in the Michelin Guide. There are so many hot springs that you can enjoy it for a long time.

Hyotan Onsen is one of Beppu's oldest hot spring, dating back to 1922. Hyotan is the Japanese word for the unqiue round shape, which the original building was designed as. Recently renovated and expanded in October 2019 to include Jigoku Mushi or "Hell Steam" food cooking experience and private family hot springs, Hyotan Onsen is very suitable for small and large families.
