Highland Mountain Bike Park is the world's only mountain-bike-specific, lift-accessed mountain, focused entirely on biking. As a resort that dedicates all its time and energy to offering a great biking experience, the trail crew has done an awesome job of delivering on its promise. The Highland Bike Park boasts an extensive downhill, slopestyle and cross-country mountain bike trail network, skill-building areas, a 9,100-square-foot indoor training facility, along with a 50-foot x 50-foot "Ayr Bag." Highland offers lessons and camps for all abilities and is home to the Ayr Academy, a week-long overnight camp taught by the best celebrity pros in the business. Highland Mountain has one of the longest seasons stretching from late April to mid-November, but nothing beats the Fall in New England. Vibrant fall colors and the crisp, cool air makes riding Highland an epic experience.

A great place to get hurt. Or have fun. Up to you and your abilities. I'd get hurt.

Fun for all ages and skill levels. This mountain is our next door neighbor! Also try Highland Park Pub for great food!

Good trails. Nice people at Welcome Center. Focused more on black/double black riders, but still some blue and green for those less skilled. The intro class is a must for everyone since they get you on the trails safely and will fine-tune any of your mistakes. The green trails, while not a huge part of the mountain (looks like TONS of fun for those more skilled), were more than enough to enjoy. Lines are great during the week but can be very long on weekends. Sometimes 30 to 45 min wait.
