Amarelli makes Rossano proud. Amarelli is a real icon. They produce one of the most refined and high quality liquorice worldwide. Historical plant tours are organized, you can visit their liquorice museum and buy some tasteful presents and souvenirs.

Calabria is known worldwide for its licorice made from the licorice root that grows in the region. There is an interesting museum and a shop to visit called Museo della Liquirizia, Amarelli located in the village of Rossano on the road SS 106. Opening hours 9.30-12, 15-17.
