Want an upscale dining option? Head to Seven Glaciers in Alyeska for the experience of a lifetime. You'll take a tram up the mountain and enjoy spectacular views while dining on local seafood and game, from halibut and salmon to wagyu steak. If you're into wine, they've also got an award-winning wine list!

This is a must and if you can get a reservation on a weekday early evening. Highly recommended.

Seven Glaciers offers excellent food, service, and views. Perched on Mount Alyeska in Girdwood it's a short tram ride (tram cost included if reservations made) to the restaurant and a spectacular view of Turnagain Arm. It is approximately a 50-minute drive to Alyeska from downtown Anchorage. Prices are on the spendy side, but worth the expense and trip.

In your travels, if you drive past Girdwood and have the time and money, you won't regret eating at Seven Glaciers. A Locally Famous Restaurant for it's food and views. Both are a 5 star experience.

Alyeska - amazing skiing in the winter; for summer there is a tram you can take up the mountain for amazing views of the Cook Inlet. Nice (pricey) restaurant at the top as well, reservation needed.
