Because it is a completely unusual place for Italy and Tuscany. It is a canyon carved in the rock. Access is possible only in Summer. From Ponte a Gaio. It is a 3 hours walk along and inside a dried river bed with some places where you are doing canyoning (water coming up to your breast). It is easy but a little adventorous. Children love it. But go only with kids who can swim.
